Is There or is there not
a universal implication of genocide ?
Was there ever a single lesson learned
that deterred the imperial dollar
and sword from massacring tribal herds
despite the temptation of accumalation of greed.
Our foundations of genocide
on the shoulders of the less
than human desensitize
our sense of understanding
muted by banal patriotism.
Wiped away. Raped away.
Native existence reduced to a reservation.
Culture and lives lost to greed.
We show no remorse for the slaughter
by our ancestors.
Genocide.
"Education" avoids this horror
in every classroom.
Its no patriotic duty to question.
Blindfold across the eyes of minds
that could dare to get out of line.
Just ignore the genocide
and possess our minds.
