Greater things which helped us cling to life
have long since passed, rendered numb devoid of meaning
When it severs, can we ever realyy comprehend
how undone we are, dissolving through those aminous skies
to where it all blacked out as your ghosts were cauterised
deep, consuming seas - & I was struggling to pretend
So when you're found, will you take a bow for causing all of this?
You know you let us down, & now we're caught
Caught in a rift
The words were worn as the days grew long
Clearly we lost our way, with the scars forever deepening,
carving apathy, to a closure I lament
Through winter blooms a golden hell
And then you dug your grave because you thought the grass was greener there
without reasoning, & I know you won't relent
