What was it all now,
the only warmth I feel
a tear on my cheek
We walked the shore,
same summer breeze
raised your skirt, ran through my hair
A night campfire
flames licked off
the chill from our cool skin
Lying together
your warmth so near
I can touch your breast
When I was with you
we sipped cups of tea,
untouched by the frosty air.
A tear feels warm
when it touches my face
but each and every single tear
always falls from my face
leaves behind its cold cold trace
What was it all now,
the only warmth I feel
a tear on my cheek.
