I come from a place where serpents roam and sinnermen call home
I lived out yonder without a name but much wildness to blame
They all say a noble man returns to what he left behind
When the beasts are coming down
Skin and teeth they will find
It is a golden land i’m heading for to build upon
I will grow my yield up there and my harvest to carry on
I came this far and I ain’t going back no more
I shook off that old dirty skin I wore
Man nor beast will call my name and offer me to stay
I had my share and I’m on my way
To the home of my heirs
This is my golden land i’m digging my lair in
I will not let you in not even on bare knees crawling
I came home and i ain’t going back no more
I shook off that old dirty skin i wore
Man nor beast will call my name and offer me to run
I had my share and I found my sun
In the house of my heirs
In the house of my heirs
Man nor beast will call my name and offer me to run
I had my share and I found my sun
In the house of my heirs
No i won’t leave my heirs
So when they all have outlawed me
Will you still take me in
And breastfeed me as your kin
