Out on patrol in sector number three
usually a complex where no one use to be
when the radar screamed "Alert level red,
Enemies behind you", so I turned around my head
Seeing all those vessels, made up my mind
I'd better flee and leave them far behind
They started to fire as I contacted my folks
When somebody hit me; now I got scared because

My odds they weren't high so I could as well attack
It surprised them for a while, but rather soon they were back
Their ships looked quite slow, maybe I could reach warp 9
Get away alive from these unknown guests of mine
But the pilots were quite good, so they stopped me from that
Instead they got closer but sure not to chat
With phasers all around me someone made a bull's eye
I opened my mouth but I could not cry
