As I wake I'm pleading for the sun to come,
Head sunk into the ground, regurgitating words passed down,
and those voices crowd my mind, painting portraits I just can't fade out, I've spiraled down an endless bout
In this place there's no escape
Hidden face they persuaded me as they sink their teeth in me
and tear
at my grit
As I listen to the whispers I can feel a change in me, it pulls me down to obscurity, beneath blankets weight down by angst, a pressure I can't leave behind,
I build so many knots in the pit of my gut
