Bare was the ground underneath
And the night was ill at ease
As the Aries poured again.
Rays like a scarlet waterfall
Rustled over rusted pole
When the sun had gone
In the ever asure steeps.
In stark gravity of end
A mere reason
That neither will nor even wilt
Will split up soul hurled into deep
And sorrow and excuse
Will drown in eye
Of the darkest might.
Born
To arise up on wings gone bone
Slide away with the wind gone foul
And to carry the weight of the world back
To the place
Where will die.
