Об альбоме
«Walls And Bridges» был записан во время длительной разлуки Леннона и Йоко Оно.
В записи песни «Whatever Gets You thru the Night» принимал участие Элтон Джон. Он поспорил с Ленноном, что эта песня сможет занять первое место в американском хит-параде (что ранее не удавалось ни одному сольному синглу Леннона). В случае, если это случилось бы, Леннон был обязан принять участие в концерте Элтона Джона. Walls and Bridgees (Rus. Walls and Bridges) - the fifth solo studio album of the participant of the group "Beatles" John Lennon, published in 1974.
About the album
Walls and Bridgees was recorded during Lennon's long separation and yoko.
In the record of the song "WHATEVER GETS YOU THRU THE NIGHT" at the part of Elton John. He argued with Lennon that this song would be able to take the first place in the American hit parade (which was not previously managed by one solo Singla Lennon). In the event that it would happen, Lennon was obliged to take part in the concert of Elton John. He had to fulfill his promise, because "WHATEVER GETS YOU THRU THE NIGHT" really managed to climb the top of the chart. The composition "Beef Jerky" is the only tool on the solo albums of Lennon. In the song "Ya Ya" on the drums playing the eleven-year-old son of Lennon Giulian.
