Wintery winds wailing
Through body and mind
Cloud-line below me
Above crystal skies
Another day's journey
Aced spirit yearns
For days that are lost
To honour days I've earned
Valley shows waters
Warmth of sun leaves me
The day is no longer
Moonlight chills me
Cold windswept mountains
In deserts of rock
Taste iron in blood
This grandeur is done
Heart rate increases
Mind defeats matter
Nearing perspective
On last step to freedom
All I hear, Earth's breath in ear
All I feel, Erath's heart beat
All I sense, inner peace
All I see, fading
Burdened bones brittle
Path forced in pain
Muscle torn and failing
Last breath leaves me
In misted air I am hidden
Silence gives me solitude
Voice escapes but none to hear
Traceless the path dissolves
My form is no more
Flesh and soil unity
Once was now rotten
Place of peace
My memory wanes
Nought left but carrion
Needed but forgotten
Shared immortal essence
In death there is life
