I let you go and now I am light
As scattered ash
My solar plexus pulled to the ground
I’m pulled to the ground
With my arms in the air
Diamond shaped craft above
Beckons us to ascend
A spectacle of light
And fluorescent halogens
This lingering pain, they take it away
They take me away
One on each arm
Waiting for you to come out and play
To bury the weight of yesterday
Nothing can stay like this
What’s here now has already gone away
And as hard as I try
To keep my grip on its sliding tail
I am drifting away now
Carried out with the tide
