Father’s words
When I was a boy,
Papa taught me how to be a man.
It was a joy,
And time flowed by the well-laid plan.
Timeline:
Toys then girls,
Adventures and noise
of the crowd. My voice
Strangly hoarse.
But I remembered
Father’s words.
Stay away from the fools and their habits
Stay away from those men, who goad you
To be like them. Stay away, stay away
Don’t be like them. Stay away
Once my dad said:
“Open up your eyes to look around”
It’s not just a trend
And reach for better things, destroying the bounds

Bridge:
It’s just a story
Which takes time’s river,
But don’t worry
I’m a good swimmer
I was as in a fever,
That time it was funny.
Now I’m a dreamer,
Renewed when it’s sunny
