YOU REMIND ME OF A BAD MEMORY
© Audrey Auld 1997 (APRA)
You remind me of bad memory
I’d forgotten just how sad love can be
Something in your smile
Had me going for awhile
But you remind me of bad memory
I saw you standing there alone
Looking like someone I’d known
Bringing back all the past and all its pain
So let’s not even say ‘hello’
It’s better if we never know
And I won’t have those memories again
You remind me of bad memory
I’d forgotten just how sad love can be
Something in your smile
Had me going for awhile
But you remind me of bad memory
I learnt my lesson all too well
Topped the class in living hell
You’re the penance I already paid
So let’s leave our future in the past
Look for love that’s bound to last
Hey you’re mistake I already made
You remind me of bad memory
I’d forgotten just how sad love can be
Something in your smile
Had me going for awhile
But you remind me of bad memory
You remind me of bad memory.
