Antillia - The Last Shaman
I
In the snow on the highest of mountains,
Where gods are so close to the great ones,
Eagles stared at the mad elder’s dance
It was the last time he was in magic trance
He’s the last of the strong ancient blood,
The last one to know all the secrets.
He could speak to the Nature and gods
Now he’s up to the sky — that’s the last ritual.
Ch.
Wandering shadows appear in the mist
Attracted by the fire in his eyes
The Light and the Darkness — in struggle they twist
While the last shaman flies in the skies
His sacred spirit meets Heaven inspired,
The Earth cries her sorrow as dew.
Dancing like water that puts out a fire,
The shaman has drowned in the blue.
II
Through stones and through ice like a mad hunted beast
He struggled to the old pagan temple
He wanted his spirit forever released
In this world like a leaf his soul trembles
He’s the last of the strong ancient blood,
The last one to know all the secrets.
He could speak to the Nature and gods
Now he’s up to the sky — that’s the last ritual.
