Легенда о Единороге
Свой рассказ я костру лишь поведать смогу:
Сохранить он сумеет все тайны.
Грог по жилам течёт, греет память мою,
Эта ночь, как и та, - не случайны…
В небе месяц мерцал, прятал звёзды в карман,
Травы пахли росою и мёдом,
Юный принц чародейку в лесу повстречал
И с сердечной простился свободой.

Её косы текли, словно жидкий огонь,
По плечам, по груди белоснежной,
Целовала, смеялась, шептала: «Не тронь!
Я не стану женою прилежной!
Но захочешь со мною делить этот мир –
Ждёт тебя непростая дорога!
Позабудь про престол, принеси, принц, ко мне
Сердце тёплое единорога!»

Много дней и ночей принц в пути пережил,
Всё искал Заповедную чащу,
Обозлился на свет, сон и радость забыл,
И мечом путь прокладывал к счастью.
А когда, наконец, среди шумной листвы
Отыскал след добычи желанной,
Фея Леса предстала пред ним во плоти,
С улыбкой печальной и странной…

«Того не ищи, чего здесь давно нет,
На восток уж ушли мои кони…
Но прощенья за жажду тебе крови нет!
Станешь сам ты добычей погони!»
И сверкнул яркий свет, отразился в глазах,
Всё померкло в проклятия чарах.
Единорогом принц стал, белей снега в горах –
Такова была страшная кара!

Не слушай ты, принц, лживых звёзд!
Колдовству не вверяй свою душу!
Этот путь приведёт к морю слёз
И поселит в груди твоей стужу.
Святой крови не лей, пощади,
Или проклят ты будешь навеки,
И с последним лучом зари
Перестанешь ты быть человеком…

The prince went through many days and nights on the way,
I was looking for the reserved thicket,
I got angry at the light, forgot my sleep and joy,
And with the sword he paved the way to happiness.
And when, finally, among the noisy foliage
I found a trace of the desired prey,
The Fairy of the Forest appeared before him in the flesh,
With a sad and strange smile ...

“Don't look for something that hasn't been here for a long time,
My horses have already gone east ...
But there is no forgiveness for your thirst for blood!
You yourself will become the prey of the chase! "
And a bright light flashed, reflected in the eyes,
Everything faded into a curse spell.
The prince has become a unicorn, whiter than snow in the mountains -
Such was the terrible punishment!

Do not entrust your soul to witchcraft!
This path will lead to a sea of tears
And it will settle in your chest a cold.
Do not pour holy blood, have mercy,
Or you will be cursed forever
And with the last ray of dawn
