Есть в хищниках высокая корысть,
Есть в хищниках здоровая основа:
Желание и обязанность загрызть.
В наш славный век лишь ярче их натура,
Когтям так близко всё, что видит глаз.
Пусть даже против хищников культура,
Зато цивилизация за нас.
Мы, хищники, большие демократы
Нам думать о различиях смешно:
Мы нищему, равно как принцу, рады -
Здоровому желудку всё равно.
В наш славный век сильнее та фигура,
Чья правда - острый зуб и острый глаз.
