Псалом Давида.
1 Не ревнуй злодеям, не завидуй делающим беззаконие,
2 ибо они, как трава, скоро будут подкошены и, как зеленеющий злак, увянут.
3 Уповай на Господа и делай добро; живи на земле и храни истину.
4 Утешайся Господом, и Он исполнит желания сердца твоего.
5 Предай Господу путь твой и уповай на Него, и Он совершит,
6 и выведет, как свет, правду твою и справедливость твою, как полдень.
7 Покорись Господу и надейся на Него. Не ревнуй успевающему в пути своем, человеку лукавствующему.
8 Перестань гневаться и оставь ярость; не ревнуй до того, чтобы делать зло,
9 ибо делающие зло истребятся, уповающие же на Господа наследуют землю.
10 Еще немного, и не станет нечестивого; посмотришь на его место, и нет его.
11 А кроткие наследуют землю и насладятся множеством мира.
12 Нечестивый злоумышляет против праведника и скрежещет на него зубами своими:
13 Господь же посмевается над ним, ибо видит, что приходит день его.
14 Нечестивые обнажают меч и натягивают лук свой, чтобы низложить бедного и нищего, чтобы пронзить идущих прямым путем:
15 меч их войдет в их же сердце, и луки их сокрушатся.
16 Малое у праведника – лучше богатства многих нечестивых,
17 ибо мышцы нечестивых сокрушатся, а праведников подкрепляет Господь.
18 Господь знает дни непорочных, и достояние их пребудет вовек:
19 не будут они постыжены во время лютое и во дни голода будут сыты;
20 а нечестивые погибнут, и враги Господни, как тук агнцев, исчезнут, в дыме исчезнут.
21 Нечестивый берет взаймы и не отдает, а праведник милует и дает,
22 ибо благословенные Им наследуют землю, а проклятые Им истребятся.
23 Господом утверждаются стопы такого человека, и Он благоволит к пути его:
24 когда он будет падать, не упадет, ибо Господь поддерживает его за руку.
25 Я был молод и состарился, и не видал праведника оставленным и потомков его просящими хлеба:
26 он всякий день милует и взаймы дает, и потомство его в благословение будет.
27 Уклоняйся от зла, и делай добро, и будешь жить вовек:
28 ибо Господь любит правду и не оставляет святых Своих; вовек сохранятся они; а беззаконные будут извержены и потомство нечестивых истребится.
29 Праведники наследуют землю и будут жить на ней вовек.
30 Уста праведника изрекают премудрость, и язык его произносит правду.
31 Закон Бога его в сердце у него; не поколеблются стопы его.
32 Нечестивый подсматривает за праведником и ищет умертвить его;
33 но Господь не отдаст его в руки его и не допустит обвинить его, когда он будет судим.
34 Уповай на Господа и держись пути Его: и Он вознесет тебя, чтобы ты наследовал землю; и когда будут истребляемы нечестивые, ты увидишь.
35 Видел я нечестивца грозного, расширявшегося, подобно укоренившемуся многоветвистому дереву;
36 но он прошел, и вот нет его; ищу его и не нахожу.
37 Наблюдай за непорочным и смотри на праведного, ибо будущность такого человека есть мир;
38 а беззаконники все истребятся; будущность нечестивых погибнет.
39 От Господа спасение праведникам, Он – защита их во время скорби;
40 и поможет им Господь и избавит их; избавит их от нечестивых и спасет их, ибо они на Него уповают. Psalm of David.
1 Do not be jealous of the villains, do not envy those who do lawlessness,
2 for they, like grass, will soon be mowed down and, like green grass, will fade.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good; live on earth and keep the truth.
4 Take comfort in the Lord, and He will fulfill the desires of your heart.
5 Betray the Lord thy way and trust in him, and he will complete,
6 And he will bring forth your righteousness, and thy righteousness, like light at noon.
7 Submit to the Lord and trust in Him. Do not be jealous of the one who succeeds in his way, the deceitful man.
8 Stop angry and leave rage; Do not be jealous of doing evil
9 For those who do evil shall be consumed, but those who trust in the Lord shall inherit the earth.
10 A little more, and the wicked will not be; you look at his place, and he is not.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth and enjoy the multitude of the world.
12 The wicked one is malicious against the righteous and grinds his teeth at him:
13 But the Lord chuckles at him, for he sees that his day is coming.
14 The wicked draw a sword and pull their bow to bring down the poor and the poor, to pierce those who walk in a direct way:
15 Their sword will go into their own heart, and their bows will be broken.
16 The things of the righteous are better than the wealth of many wicked ones.
17 For the muscles of the wicked are afflicted, but the Lord strengthens the righteous.
18 The Lord knows the days of the immaculate, and their inheritance will be forever:
19 they will not be ashamed during the fierce, and in the days of famine they will be full;
20 But the wicked will perish, and the enemies of the Lord, like the fat of the lamb, will disappear, in the smoke they will disappear.
21 The wicked borrow and do not give, but the righteous have mercy and give,
22 for those blessed by him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by him shall be destroyed.
23 The Lord affirms the feet of such a person, and He favors his way:
24 when he falls, he will not fall, for the Lord supports his hand.
25 I was young and old, and did not see the righteous left and his descendants asking for bread:
26 He has mercy every day and lends, and his offspring will be in blessing.
27 Evade from evil, and do good, and you will live forever:
28 for the Lord loves righteousness and does not leave His saints; they will remain forever; but the wicked will be cast out, and the offspring of the wicked will be destroyed.
29 The righteous will inherit the earth and will live on it forever.
30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue pronounces the truth.
31 The law of his God is in his heart; His feet shall not be shaken.
32 The wicked spies on the righteous and seeks to put him to death;
33 but the Lord will not give him into his hands and will not allow him to be blamed when he is judged.
34 Trust in the Lord and keep his way: and he will lift you up to inherit the earth; and when the wicked are destroyed, you will see.
35 I saw a wicked formidable, expanding, like a rooted multi-branched tree;
36 but he passed, and behold he was not; looking for him and can not find.
37 Observe the immaculate and look at the righteous, for the future of such a person is peace;
38 But the wicked shall all be cut off. the future of the wicked will perish.
39 From the Lord is salvation to the righteous; He is their protection in times of trouble;
