Родился в 1970 году в городе Брянске, где толком не жил, т.к. сразу уехал в Палдиски (Эстонская ССР), где мой отец служил доктором на ДПЛ 613 пр. Затем была Германия (город Застниц (о.Рюген) и Лиепая (Латвийская ССР (до 1985г). Окончил школу в Смоленске, потом поступил в Калининградское ВВМУ на Третий факультет. С 1992 года служил на Камчатке на лодке проекта "Барс" в должности командира группы. С 1997 года в запасе в звании капитан-лейтенант.
