Homenajes (Homages) is a suite comprising five brief pieces that were written by Falla at different stages of his creative development. The work’s title is derived from the fact that each of its parts was dedicated to an important person in Falla’s life.
The chronology of Homenajes speaks of a twenty-year period, during which it is possible to find stylistic and expressives differences that are a logical consequence of Falla’s own development as a composer.
