Обложка альбома, оформленная как гигантский кошелёк из змеиной кожи (со вложенной купюрой в миллиард долларов), была номинирована на «Грэмми».
Девочка, присутствующая на фотографиях, сделанных для разворота, — Лола Пфайффер, дочь Кэролайн Пфайффер, британского PR-агента Alice Cooper. Несколько лет спустя девочка умерла после болезни.
В связи с фотографиями для обложки у группы возникли проблемы. Во-первых, согласно американскому законодательству, для фотографического воспроизведения американской валюты требуется специальное разрешение ФБР. Во-вторых, если верить Деннису Данэвэю, группа для фотосессии заняла ровно один миллион долларов и отправила деньги в студию бронированной машине с собственными секьюрити. Когда деньги после окончания съёмок пересчитали, выяснилось, что недостает одной 10-долларовой купюры. Деннис утверждает, что «Глен не смог побороть соблазн». Главная идея альбома состояла в том, что каждый из нас страдает той или иной формой болезненной извращённости. Другое дело, это должна быть непременно американская извращённость: мы, знаете ли, националисты! — Элис Купер.

Автор «Hello Hooray» — Рольф Кемпф, канадский автор. Впервые эту песню исполнила Джуди Коллинз.
Ренфилд, владелец куперовских архивов, утверждает, что вдохновила Купера на создание песни «No More Mr. Nice Guy» статья в журнале Rolling Stone. Песня была написана, ещё когда группа работала над Killer, но была отвергнута, не вписавшись в тематику альбома. По той же причине она не была включена в School`s Out.
«Mary Ann» была написана о Мэри Вайтхаус, скандально знаменитой в то время английской активистке, боровшейся против безнравственности на телевидении. Но, как утверждает Майкл Брюс, в первом варианте это была песня протеста против вьетнамской войны, и там была строчка: «Uncle Sam, I’m really sad about you, indeed I am, I just can’t be around you, Uncle Sam I thought you were…a man.»
В основу «Elected» легла песня «Reflected» из альбома Pretties for You.
Партию бэкинг-вокала в «Billion Dollar Babies» исполнил Донован. На концертах его партию брал на себя Майкл Брюс.
Основная часть текста и общая структура «Sick Things» имеет определённое сходство с музыкой к фильму IF.. с участием Малкольма Макдауэлла (известного по «Механическому апельсину»). Хорал, здесь использованный, называется «Sanctus»: он заимствован из «Missa Luba, An African Mass».

Billion Dollar Babies - Alice Cooper Sixth Studio Album, released Warner Bros. In March 1973, and headed American and English album charts at the same time. Singles from it came out: "Elected" (1972, # 4 UK), "Hello, Hooray" (1973, # 6 UK, # 35 US), "No More Mr. Nice Guy "(1973, # 10 UK, # 35 US)," Billion Dollar Babies "(1973, # 57 US). Many songs of the album are still included in the Cooper's Concert Repertoire: "I Love The Dead" accompanies the ritual of his stage "execution", "Elected" is often performed at the end of the BIS program.
The album, which became Multiplatinov, is considered not only a commercial, but also creative peak of the group.

The cover of the album, decorated as a giant snake skin wallet (with a billion dollars nested), was nominated for Grammy.
A girl present in photographs made for reversal - Lola Pfaiffer, daughter Caroline Pfaiffer, British PR Agent Alice Cooper. A few years later, the girl died after illness.
In connection with the photographs for the cover of the group there were problems. First, according to American legislation, for photographic reproduction of the US currency requires a special permission of the FBI. Secondly, if you believe Dennis Danevay, the group for the photo shoot took exactly one million dollars and sent money to the studio on an armored car with his own securiti. When the money was recalculated after the end of the shooting, it turned out that the lack of one 10-dollar bills. Dennis argues that "Glen could not overcome the temptation." The bill was later found in the lighting system of the room.

The main idea of the album was that each of us suffers to a form of painful perversion. Another thing, it should be certainly American perversion: we know whether the nationalists know! - Alice Cooper.

The author "Hello Hoore" - Rolf Kempf, Canadian author. For the first time this song performed Judy Collins.
Renfield, owner of Cooper archives, argues that he inspired Cooper to create a song "No More Mr. Nice Guy »Article in Rolling Stone magazine. The song was written, even when the band worked on Killer, but was rejected, not fitting in the subject of the album. For the same reason, it was not included in School`s out.
"Mary Ann" was written about Mary Waithaus, which was not famous at the time of the English activist, fantastic against immorality on television. But, according to Michael Bruce, in the first version it was a protest song against the Vietnamese War, and there was a line: "Uncle Sam, I'm Really Sad About You, Indeed I Am, I Just Can't Be Around You, Uncle Sam I Thought You Were ... a man. "
The "Elected" was based on the song "Reflected" from the Pretties for You album.
The Baking Baching Vocal in Billion Dollar Babies performed Donovan. At concerts, his party took on Michael Bruce.
The main part of the text and the general structure of Sick Things has a certain similarity with the music to the film if .. with the participation of Malcolm Makdauell (known for "mechanical orange"). Choral, here used, called "Sanctus": It is borrowed from Missa Luba, An African Mass.
