Escaping the grasp that’s kept me held in place
Moving on with the life I now face
A freedom that has many rules in a location of pain
As days roll on by, as if escaping fear
We keep running our lives at speed
We can’t understand the reality at hand

What is real and what is false?
What is joy? What is the cause?
Answers we’re looking for, questions not asked before
Forgotten nobody knows
To keep on living on this Earth like the dead who lay below
Where the simplest of dreams disappear as we sleep
I cannot bare to reach such an end
And as if new life has been earned, hide the light that shows you breathe
