Engaged day. Monastery on the river -
Come on, the way is open, the entrance hole!
And at the heart of a quiet resting,
What I see thousands of miles:
As the lamps are lit and burning in the altar,
Body here and soul in the heavens,
Serves elder monk in white monastery
And the Savior prays for all.
Above the pitted ground strikes twelve hours
Cottages look through the eyes of orphans.
Amid the boundless steppes and dense forests
Buried great nation ...
Only the lamps are lit and burning in the altar
Since that time, and so far the most:
Serves Russian monk in white monastery
And in Russian choir sings fraternal.
Ringing for vespers calling, I want Prechistoye
Pray for his friends,
Pray for those who zateplilas candle
Previous Reigning Icon of Her.
And the lamps are lit, all burning in the altar,
Body here and soul in the heavens,
Serves elder monk in white monastery
And the Savior prays for all.
And the lamps are lit, all burning in the altar,
Since that time, and so far the most:
Serves Russian monk in white monastery
And in Russian choir sings fraternal.
